Halloween Update

This is a busy productive time for us. This week we will approach BDI about a 20,000 loan for operating capital. We will send out the 2010 press release.

To break even, by December 31 we are looking for:

$10,000 in new Patrons (10 new letters sent our last week, 10 this week)
$10,000 in new SBP's (report below)
$10,000 in Seniors Program sponsor (we meet with Credit Union this week)
$10,000 in Students Program (any suggestions)

And then we're there!

The Five Year Plan Committee met on Friday night: Arnold Smith, Carter Jeffrey, Carol Probert (audience member, church council at N.Rustico). Jackie Torrens will be joining by phone in future
The Building Committee (Maxine, Michael Murphy and Wade MacLauchlan) meets next Monday

Arnold has approached Marks Work Wear House - will follow up
Arnold has approached another private company
Gracie approached Doirons Landscaping last spring and they suggested that we come back before Christmas, I went into see them yesterday
Gracie approached Island Vacation Rentals, I will follow up today
Mary Crane has approached Mait MacIssac at Learning and Reading Partners Adult Learning System
Mary has approached Sleman park
Gracie Suggests that we should approach Patron Rory Francis to pitch our partnerships with the Bio Alliance of which is the CEO

Carol Cabana says "Yes" she'll do a workshop before Christmas for one evening (for free) and she will help us find the money for a full workshop with the new board members in the winter.
