The Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI are very interested in buying our performance of Private Lives on August 21 and selling it as a fundraiser. We did a site inspection together on Friday. Here is the plan we agreed on: We sell them every seat in the house at $16; they sell the tickets for $50 much like our opening nights inlcuding a reception before and after the show. The coordinator (Suee Platt) loved what we have to offer and will take this proposal to her Executive Director tomorrow. They have been actively seeking a summer fundraiser and this is good for them beacuse it is not much more work than selling tickets.

We have put all the seats for that performance (August 21) on hold so that they can not be purchased.

There have been no tickets sold on Saturday or yesterday, so we have to keep encouraging people to buy now.

Saturday, I was in Halifax auditioning actors for the final two roles, and I found two WONDERFUL actors. I am not going to tell you their names until they agree to our slighly weird work arrangements - I can't offer them contracts until we post an Equity bond and we can't do that until June 1st at the earliest. So, I will see if I can get them to trust me and hope for the best.

Dear Duncan:

The Anne 2008 Centennial Committee has reviewed your request for financial support and is prepared to provide funding for specific categories in your budget, subject to the criteria and conditions of the Committee's funding sources.

The Commmittee agrees to reimburse marketing costs in the amount of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars). Payment will be made only after expense invoices and proof of payment of those invoices have been delivered or mailed to the Committee office at 6 Pownal Street, Charlottetown, PE C1A 3V6.
